For over 100 years we have served the Swedish community in the greater Portland and SW Washington area.
Founded in 1925, we celebrated our our Centennial in 2025. We are always happy to welcome new members. Please join us at one of our various get-togethers or participate in our public events.
We support and participate in fun and informational events celebrating Swedish culture year round including: Traditional Midsummer festivals in June; Scandinavian Goat Market in late November; ScanFair, a Nordic Christmas Market in December; Traditional Lucia celebrations; Swedish dance classes for children; Scandinavian cultural programs and enjoy traditional seasonal Swedish or Scandinavian foods. Harmoni gives you a variety of opportunities to learn about your Swedish heritage.
Harmoni Lodge 472 is part of the VASA Order of America. The organization aims to foster Swedish culture and traditions and is a non-political, non-religious organization. Membership requirements are broad and welcoming: persons of Swedish or other Nordic ancestry, or who are committed to the promotion and advancement of Swedish and Nordic heritage and culture, 14 years or older are eligible for membership.

Our newsletter is titled “The Lutfisk Wrapper.” These are emailed to members most months, and we share current news and updates and keep our members informed.
